The Symposium on International Energy and Resource Legal Systems in the New Era was held in Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province, on Nov 24. The symposium was hosted by Guizhou Provincial Government Legal Research Center and the Kangaroo Mining Club (KMC).
At the symposium, experts exchanged opinions and discussed national policies, legal systems, legal issues and legal risk prevention in the fields of mineral resources, land resources, forest resources, water resources, marine resources and new energy.
A total of 58 papers, including eleven excellent ones, were selected by well-known legal experts for awards. The paper co-authored by Feng Tieshuan and his doctoral supervisor, both from the School of Law at Wuhan University, won the first prize Excellent Paper Award.
