Guiyang government has released a five-year plan for Internet Plus industries which aims to integrate internet technologies with the development of the economy and society.
According the plan, the city will prioritize the development of smart energy, finance, artificial intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship with the help of the internet.
By 2018, the internet service sector is expected to be worth 24 billion yuan ($3.47billion) a year, while the transaction volume of e-commerce business is forecast to exceed 120 billion yuan.
