A forum featuring in explaining Chinese major policies on eco-civilization was held in Guiyang, Guizhou province, on June 26.
The forum entitled "Green Policy Workshop: Agenda for Eco-compensation System Forum", invited high level guests in different fields to contribute their thoughts on Eco-compensation System, especially on addressing Chinese and worldwide cases and studies.
According to the organizers, the forum was set to publicize policies on environmental protection and promote the establishment of the first eco-compensation league with local government.
Organizers of the event including Eco-Compensation System of NDRC, a joint team from Tsinghua University China Institute of Development Planning (CIDP) and Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning.
It is one of the 32 sub-forums of the 2015 Eco Forum Global Annual Conference held in Guiyang, June 25-28.
