The P&G China Co recently said that its intelligent electric toothbrush-the Oral B bluetooth - the world's first iBrush —is now available in China, priced at 1,000 yuan ($161).
Guo Wanping, head of communications and PR at P&G China, said that the iBrush uses bluetooth 4.0 technology for high-speed wireless connection to a mobile phones so that customers can download an "Oral B" APP to their phone and customize their oral health care.
The iBrush can provide an individual oral care database. A digital monitor in the brush for each micro motion while cleaning the teeth and through real-time synchronization. The "Oral B" APP will analyze personal data and provide advice on brushing behavior and oral health. The company says that using the iBrush can help people develop better brushing habits and keep the gums and teeth clean.
