A total of 51 departments at the provincial level in Guizhou announced on May 8 their 2013 budgets concerning three public expenses: public spending on overseas trips, official receptions, and buying and using government cars.
The 51 departments also provided detailed budget information in areas such as education, health and medical care, social insurance, and employment and housing security.
The departments also made public their staff sizes and government car inventories.
The three public expenses for departments at the provincial level have not increased since 2009, according to the 2013 Report of Public Finance and Budgeting of the Three Public Expenses released by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Finance.
Expenditures on overseas trips and government cars by the departments at the provincial level are 17.49 million yuan ($2.85 million) and 9 million yuan ($1.46 million), said the report.
