It is located in the county seat of Nandan. The distillery traces its history to the Sui Dynasty or the Tang Dynasty. It began to prosper during the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. Since 1956 when it began making liquor on a large scale for the first time, it has experienced even greater success. With the annual output of Luzhou- liquor, Maotai liquor and rice-flavored liquor being about 20,000 tonnes, it is currently the biggest production base of high-quality liquor in Guangxi. Good environment, unique climate, excellent water, good grains and fantastic techniques all contribute to the high quality of the liquor produced by Danquan Distillery, which is known as the “Best Liquor in Guangxi”.
