Pingnan seeks expert advice on arch bridges protection

Pingnan officials held a meeting with experts on Jan 3 concerning the protection of three bridges in the county which are seen as cultural relics.

Xiao Shuai, deputy director of the Ancient Buildings Research Institute of the Beijing Institute of Architecture Design, and Wang Qingyi, deputy director of its department of design, gave a presentation about their plan for the protection of Wan’an Bridge, Qiansheng Bridge and Longjin Bridge.

All the presented experts gave their suggestions in terms of the general planning and the protection measures. Zhou fenfang, Ruansicun, Su Yufeng and Zhang Chuanyang, four director-level Pingnan local officials also attended the meeting.
