Shangri-La in Fuzhou appoint Jackie Zhang as the new Excutive Chef.
Mr. Zhang began learning western cuisine since 1990, and has so far owned a 20-year long woking experience of restaurant cooking. He has worked in the famous Mauritius Happy Valley Retaurant, Singapore Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou Shangri-La Hotel and Harbin Shangri-La Restaurant.
With many years of overseas working experience and the innate cooking talent, Mr. Zhang has mastered several western countries’ cooking techniques, including France, Italy, U.S. etc. What’s more, he add his own opinion to innovate dishes. In addition, Mr. Zhang has won many honorable awards: In 2007, he became the founding member of China Hotel Celebrity Association, and has acted as the Vice President of Food and Beverage Association until now; In 2006, the restaurant he led won the title of Best Restaurant of the year in the famous “World Gourmet Summit” in Singapore; In 2000, he won the Individual Silver Award in the Asian Gourmet Summit.
