Minhu Lake is an artificial lake built on the Junxi River, one of the tributaries of Youxi River, as part of the Jiemian hyrdopower station. Rolling mountains that are interrupted by raised water levels form many islets which offer views of lush forests and rugged, steep rock faces. The clear water produces one of the best open-water swimming options in China.
