“The status as a free trade zone will enhance Pingtan’s geographic and policy advantages. Taiwan companies can use Pingtan as a springboard to distribute products in the Chinese mainland. Cross-Straits trades are picking up and the shipping business is growing especially fast. I believe this will attract more Taiwan companies to settle in Pingtan.”

“My companies mainly engage in research and manufacturing of cosmetics and health products. We plan to build a factory in Pingtan. I’ve been to Pingtan a lot and have been impressed by its change over the years. I think Pingtan will gradually make itself known on the international stage.”

Xue Yayun, manager of Kangdefu Taiwan International Technology Co Ltd:

The Taiwan Business Incubator in Pingtan is a great platform for young entrepreneurs from both sides of the Taiwan Straits to brainstorm and start their careers. Pingtan has also released a great number of favorable policies to attract talents.
