Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province, has taken lead in sacking corrupt Party officials and cadres in government departments, Xinhuanet.com reported on Oct 17.

66 cases where Party heads of various government departments or institutions were found in violation of laws were dealt with in the first nine months of this year. The figure is nine more – or an increase of 16 percent – than the same period last year, said the city’s Party disciplinary inspection bureau.

Throughout the first nine months, altogether 597 cases of disciplinary violations were filed in Fuzhou, 5 more than last year, the bureau said.
