DRC Vice-President visits Belarus, Lithuania and Estonia
Zhang Junkuo, Vice-President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), visited Belarus, Lithuania and Estonia from April 22 to May 1.
The trip was aimed at promoting pragmatic cooperation and economic and trade investment cooperation between China and the three countries, and facilitating the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

During his stay in Belarus, Zhang met with Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Dapkiunas and officials of the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Industry of Belarus to exchange views on bilateral trade and investment cooperation, business environment and potential areas of future cooperation.
He also met with officials of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to exchange views on pragmatic cooperation between the two countries' think tanks and promoting the sustained and healthy development of bilateral economic and trade relations.
Zhang visited the Belarusian State University and its Confucius Institute, and exchanged views with officials of the university on educational cooperation and personnel training in the two countries.
Zhang visited the industrial park Great Stone and held a meeting with Chinese enterprises operating in the park.

During his stay in Lithuania, Zhang met with a deputy minister of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania to exchange views on bilateral economic and trade cooperation, business environment and potential areas of future cooperation between China and Lithuania.
He visited Vilnius University, and held talks with heads of the university on exchanges and education cooperation between the two countries.
His trip in Lithuania included visits to the Jiangsu Linyang Elgama Electric Meter Factory and Huawei Lithuania company. Zhang also met with Chinese Ambassador to Lithuania Shen Zhifei, and held talks on bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

In Estonia, Zhang exchanged views with officials of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of Estonia on bilateral economic and trade cooperation, business environment and potential areas of future cooperation.
He spent time at Tallinn University of Technology exchanging views with the university's professors on digital society, educational cooperation, and think tank exchanges.
Zhang visited the Estonian E-Government Exhibition Center and the Guangzhou Hangxin Estonian Aircraft Maintenance Center.
He also met with Chinese Ambassador to Estonia Li Chao for talks on bilateral trade and investment cooperation work.
