Abstract：
Trade associations which have been developed to some extent are one of the important pillars for the framework of socialist market economic system. However, they still face some problems. It is necessary to put at the top of agenda the speedy reform and development of trade associations. Those trade associations within the institution should have a quick transformation and those outside the institution should be supported and cultivated. Since the "Enterprise Association Law" could not be brought out for the time being, the “Provisional Regulations for Economic Trade Associations” could first come into force to complement the “Regulations for Management of Social Groups” so as to ensure the sound development of trade associations.
