Abstract:
The rural economy has been operating smoothly in the first half of 2002 with continual adjustment of agricultural structure, good export performance and improved policy environment. But the destabilizing factors that have long evolved remain to be difficult to be eradicated in a short run. The situation is expected to be tight in the second half of the year.
