7. Dance "Rainbow Robes and Feathered Coats" 5 min
The dance originates from a Chinese anecdote. It is said that Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty once had a dream. In the dream he encountered a group of fairy ladies dancing to the fairy music in their rainbow-like robes and feathered coats. He was so caught by the scene that when he woke up, he recalled the music from his dream and asked his beloved concubine Yang Yuhuan to dance to the music. Just as Yang's elegance grasped the heart of the emperor, today the dance will also grasp the heart of each audience.
8. Percussion Music "Emperor Taizong's six horses" 6 min
The six horses are Emperor Taizong's partners that accompanied him to countless war battles. The heroic feature of the emperor and the feral image of the horses are presented through a combination of different percussion instruments. The piece of work is a prize winner in many art festivals.
