Recently, the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee and CPIC Beijing Branch issued comprehensive insurance coverage to help enterprises in Zhongguancun Science Park resume work and production.
The insurance covers compensation for loss caused by COVID-19 and interruption of businesses.
After enterprises purchase the comprehensive insurance, CPIC will compensate them for employees who are diagnosed or die of COVID-19 during the resumption of work, as well as for the investment in epidemic prevention and control made by the insured enterprises.
In addition, CPIC will compensate for loss caused when employees are required to be quarantined due to the epidemic, resulting in tardiness, and operating loss caused when enterprises are required to shut down due to the epidemic.
The comprehensive insurance has certain advantages compared with commercial insurance. Key technology companies participating in anti-epidemic work can enjoy a 15-percent discount.
