Zhongguancun's intelligent manufacturing innovation center recently planned the construction of a new service station in Baoding, Hebei province.
The new "service window" to be set up at the Zhongguancun science park's branch in Baoding will provide tailored services for the industrial upgrade and coordinated development of sci-tech enterprises in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
The innovation center, which opened in Beijing's Haidian district last July, is an incubator for cutting-edge manufacturing technology.

By providing a manufacturing, design, R&D and marketing service chain, the street has attracted 368 enterprises and projects, with an occupancy rate of 95 percent.
According to Cheng Jing, CEO of the service center, a normal molding production cycle spans 15 to 25 days requiring transport around the country for processing partners at various stages. It only takes five days at most to produce a set of molds at Zhongguancun Street.
"The majority of enterprises have obtained 30 million ($4.4 million) to 50 million yuan ($7.3 million) in angel investment," said Cheng. "They are so popular that investors strive for cooperation."
The center will soon dispatch staff members to provide free training for sci-tech platforms, hoping to achieve cooperation with more than 100 parks over the next three years.
