Zhongguancun-based enterprises have been recently inspired by the implementation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei plan and Zhongguancun has become a leader in the collaborative innovation field.
Enterprises like Tsinghua Unigroup, JingDiao, ShenWu, and China Transinfo continually set up research facilities in Beijing and convert findings into products in Tianjin and Hebei.
Zhongguancun had set up 5,741 branch offices in Tianjin and Hebei in 2016 and more than 5,200 innovative projects have been evaluated by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Commercialization of Research Findings Platform organizations.
Forty-five Zhongguancun enterprises invested 35 billion yuan ($5.09 billion) in the Tianjin Binhai-Zhongguancun Technology Park for projects tied to internet, health, technological finance, and e-commerce industries, on Nov 22.
Additionally, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Public Entrepreneurship & Innovation League was established on July 9, 2016, with 57 Zhongguancun-based enterprises being involved, and the Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Investment Fund also finished its industrial and commercial registration work within the year.
