The 2012 Medica International Medical Equipment Fair was held in Dusseldorf, Germany, between Nov 14 and 17.

Medica is the largest and most influential medical equipment exhibition in the world. It covers a wide range of fields, including electronic medical equipment, laboratory equipment, first aid equipment, disinfection materials and textiles, and hospital equipment. As many as 4,200 enterprises from over 130 countries and regions participated in the exhibition.

This was the third time that Zhongguancun's administrative committee and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce co-organized Zhongguancun companies to attend the event. All 17 exhibitors from Zhongguancun exhibited their products at the event.

The products include world class devices, such as a new type of blood coagulation parameter produced by Beijing Steellex Scientific Instrument Company and an X-ray protective mask from Beijing Huaren Yikang Science and Technology Development Company.

The exhibits attracted clients from different countries and regions, with some participants reaching possible cooperation agreements.
