The Unify Technology Development Center had only five employees and 100,000 yuan ($15,800) in capital when it was established. As the company's general manager for over a decade, Zheng has developed the company into a new- and high-tech enterprise with a registered capital of 41 million yuan. The company also has gross assets of 100 million yuan, as well as a wholly controlled subsidiary and a holding subsidiary.

In 1999, she presided over the transition of the company from a state-owned enterprise into an organization with diversified economic ownership. She also facilitated the Agency Share Transfer System (Stock Code: 430037) and listed the enterprise on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange by the end of 2008.

Since then, the enterprise has become a new- and high-tech holding company that integrates trade, industry and technology with modern business concepts and advanced management mechanisms.
