The construction of the Science Museum of National Natural Protection Station in Gu Niujiang, Qimen county, kicked off in the second half of 2012 with a total area of nearly 200 square meters. The exhibition hall consists of sections such as a full view scaled model of the protection area, rare plants and animals, and soil samples. The Science Museum of National Natural Protection Station in Gu Niujiang showcases the ancient complexity of animals and plants in Gu Niujiang.
Over 100 plant samples and 200 animal samples have been collected. The science exhibition hall integrates study, scientific research and biodiversity protection. It is a window for the public, schools, and research and development companies to directly and comprehensively understand biodiversity protection in the protection area and to publicize science education.
