As I've already stated, Tongling is a small but important Chinese gem. It's no coincidence its number one export is also an honest reflection of the city. This city, along with its citizens, makes the "bronze capital" a must-see for anyone eager to explore China. The past three days have been filled with moments only to be experienced in a city like Tongling. Perhaps the city will be asked again to host the bronze sculpture festival and if it is then I'm sure it'll be just as good as this year's, if not better. The special event is held every two years, making it that much more unique. I've seen some amazing and very moving bronze sculptures, which is a little surprising in that a town of this size can pull off such an international event. I look forward to returning to what's now considered the base of the "Modern Bronze Industry."
