Embassy menu week

US embassy chef Michael Rosenblum will share dishes with Beijing-area gourmets from menus enjoyed by celebrity guests in a weeklong promotion at Grill 29 starting on Monday. We're not supposed to name those luminaries, though Americans will probably be able to guess who came to dinner the night "Plains Chocolate Peanut Pie" was served. Lunch: three-course menu (lunch only) is 300 yuan ($46) per person; five-courses for 500; eight courses for 800 (add 15 percent service charge for all).
