That's Amarone

Via Roma restaurant is in the middle of an ongoing series of wine dinners, but resident chef Francesco Sanna is particularly buoyant about this Friday's event. Teaming up with the Zenato winery, a star in the Lugano wine-producing region south of Lake Garda, Senna says these Lugano and Amarone wines are not to be missed. Expect those vintages to sing in pairings with pan-fried quail, low-temperature cooked cod and a stewed lamb shank in Chiantiggiana sauce and black truffle. 588 yuan per person plus 15-percent service charge.
