Folk-custom Hall displays some prominent products created by outstanding weavers. Dyeing and Weaving Hall tells people how to dye and weave silk and the scientific theory of it. There are also weavers showing the whole process. Tourists are welcome to participate in the activity and do it themselves. Modern Achievements Hall displays the achievements of New China in silk production, silk research and silk trade and so on.

China National Silk Museum is a museum equipped with modern facilities and is dedicated to providing convenience for tourists. It offers free guide, free audio guide, free pamphlets on silk information, and even free wheelchairs for the disabled. People can also choose their favorite silk goods in the museum shop and relax in the teahouse.

Guangdong Hakka Museum

The Hakka people inhabit the provinces of Guangdong, Jiangxi and Fujian in the Chinese mainland, and Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan Island, as well as Southeast Asia. The Hakka and their rich culture have had a significant influence on the course of Chinese and overseas Chinese history over centuries of migrations. There are Hakka museums in many places around the world, and now the largest Hakka museum in China has opened to the public.

The Guangdong Hakka Museum, Guangdong Province's first and China's largest Hakka museum, opened on April 8 in Meizhou City, Guangdong Province.

The Guangdong Hakka Museum project involved collecting, researching and displaying the Hakka culture with an investment of 130 million yuan; and covers an area of 163.2 mu. The architectural area is 15,000 square meters. The museum is comprised of a main hall and three branch halls – Huang Zunxian Memorial Hall, University Hall, and the General Hall. The main hall is divided into five sections which emphasize five main themes that annotate the Hakka's spirit from multiple angles; vividly describe the Hakka people's five difficult migration periods in history; and display a great deal of precious relics, pictures and information visually reproducing the Hakka's traditional folk culture.

Linhong, on the behalf of Guangdong Government, claimed that as Meizhou possesses affluent Hakka cultural relics it should make a great effort to become a state-owned museum with a long history, spirit of Hakka characters, folk-custom, landscapes, and the center of researching, the carrier of spreading of Hakka culture, moreover, the window of Meizhou as well as Guangdong to open up to the world.

The China Numismatics Museum was established in 1992 as a showcase for China's numismatic culture and history.
