England football captain Beckham confessed he isbefuddledby his six-year-old son Brooklyn's maths homework in an interview.
Beckham, 30, admitted to being baffled when Brooklyn recently asked for help with a school assignment and had toturn tohis former Spice Girls pop star wife Victoria to help out.
"Their homework is so hard these days. I sat down with Brooklyn the other day -- andI waslike, 'Victoria, maybe you should do the homework tonight'.
" It's done totally differently to what I was teached when I was at school, and you know, I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't do this'.
Brooklyn was like, 'Please do it with me', and I'm like, 'I'll read your book with you'."
The Real Madrid midfielder's son attends theexclusiveRunnymede College in the Spanish capital, which follows the British national curriculum.
The Mail on Sunday gave examples of some national curriculum maths questions set for seven-year-olds.
They include: "Betty went to the shop at 11:45. She came back half an hour later. What time did she come back?" and "What is 12 divided by three?"
Beckham also admitted he has no"lucky" pre-match routines, with them too being tough to remember.
"I find that if I follow a routine ... it gets to the stage where you are thinking, 'Right, was it the left side ... the left boot I put on first, or the right side?'
"There are so many things that can go through your mind."
Beckham is set toskipperEngland in Wednesday's friendly against Uruguay at Liverpool's Anfield stadium.

當(dāng)布魯克林說(shuō)‘請(qǐng)跟我一起做作業(yè)’時(shí)，我只能說(shuō)‘我給你讀書(shū)好了’?！?br/>
這位皇馬中場(chǎng)隊(duì)員的兒子就讀于西班牙首都馬德里市內(nèi)一所高級(jí)的魯尼米德學(xué)院，該學(xué)院按照英國(guó)國(guó)家課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)教學(xué)。
《星期日郵報(bào)》刊登了一些按照國(guó)家課程設(shè)置為7歲兒童準(zhǔn)備的數(shù)學(xué)樣題。
例如：“貝蒂11:45去商店，半個(gè)小時(shí)后回來(lái)，回來(lái)時(shí)幾點(diǎn)？”；“12除以3等于幾？”
貝克漢姆也承認(rèn)，賽前他從來(lái)不做什么能帶來(lái)“幸運(yùn)”的習(xí)慣動(dòng)作，因?yàn)槟切﹦?dòng)作很難記。
