Some toys made by local factories were even potentially dangerous, the
Beijing News said, citing a nationwide probe by the General Administration
of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
Industrial waste, including dirty carpet fluff, paper and used
instant-noodle packaging, was found stuffed inside some toys made by
factories in the northern province of Hebei and sold at rock-bottom prices
nationwide, the newspaper added.
"These fluffy toys with bacteria or even viruses in them could cause
children to itch if they touch them for a short time, or even cause
disease over the long term," the newspaper said.
Some toys had parts that could be easily torn off and potentially
injure children, it said, adding that it was not uncommon for children to
get sick or die because of poor-quality toys.
The watchdog found that some baby clothes contained chemicals that
could cause skin problems, the newspaper said.
About 5 percent of baby milk powder tested was found to be of poor
quality, with some containing excessive amounts of nitrate, it added.

《新京報(bào)》援引國(guó)家質(zhì)檢總局發(fā)布的一份全國(guó)性調(diào)查報(bào)告稱(chēng)，一些地方工廠制造的玩具甚至存在潛在危險(xiǎn)。
報(bào)道稱(chēng)，河北省一些玩具工廠把臟地毯絨、紙屑等工業(yè)廢料以及廢棄的方便面袋塞進(jìn)玩具里，并在全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)廉價(jià)銷(xiāo)售。
該報(bào)道稱(chēng)，“兒童短時(shí)間接觸這些攜帶細(xì)菌甚至病毒的毛絨玩具會(huì)身上發(fā)癢；長(zhǎng)時(shí)間接觸則會(huì)引發(fā)疾病?！?
報(bào)道中說(shuō)，有些玩具的一些部位很容易被撕開(kāi)，這存在造成兒童受傷的潛在危險(xiǎn)。由于玩具質(zhì)量不合格而導(dǎo)致兒童生病或死亡的事件并非少數(shù)。
監(jiān)督部門(mén)發(fā)現(xiàn)，一些童裝中含有會(huì)導(dǎo)致皮膚問(wèn)題的化學(xué)物質(zhì)。
此外，有5%的受檢嬰兒奶粉質(zhì)量不合格，有些牌子的奶粉含有過(guò)量硝酸鹽。
