Sam: Look, it's Christmas. Maggie, my wife, she really... I mean, she

1. invade your privacy
每個人都有自己的隱私，而每個人又都有維護自己的隱私的辦法。至于管不管用，就要另當別論了。其實說到隱私，似乎老外會更注意一些，比如：年齡，工資，住址，甚至婚否，這都是我們不可以直接問的，而一旦直接問了會發(fā)生什么事情呢?

2. be under a cloud
很地道的美國俚語，但是很少有人會用，因為我們一直在說 I'm not feeling very well.
其實我們還可以再換一種說法來表達。比如當有人問你 How are you doing recently? 的時候，我們就可以說：Well, I'm under
a cloud. （我的心情不是很好?。?
3. tough
基本上所有不好的東西，我們都可以用tough這個詞來表示！比如：那個討厭的家伙，就可以是that tough
guy。“你太粗暴了”就可以說成 You're too tough.
