據(jù)報(bào)道，由于大雨和洪水沖毀了路基，印度中南部的安得拉邦于10月29日發(fā)生火車脫軌事件，造成100多人死亡。據(jù)悉，目前已有700多人獲救，搜救工作正在進(jìn)行之中。

報(bào)道中derail 指的是“（火車等）出軌”，也就是run off the rails。Derail常用作被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，如：The engine
was derailed.（火車頭出軌了。）此外，derail可以用來(lái)表示“突然中止或停頓”，例如：The policy derailed
under the new
