澳大利亞網(wǎng)友John Elliot當(dāng)天在中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)網(wǎng)站英文論壇（bbs.chinadaily.com.cn）上發(fā)帖：“從古到今中國(guó)在科技方面取得很多成績(jī)，所以我從來沒有低估過中國(guó)人民在這方面的水平和能力。中國(guó)最終將成為很多創(chuàng)新和科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者。嫦娥一號(hào)的成功只是個(gè)開始，中國(guó)還會(huì)有光明的未來。中國(guó)探月計(jì)劃的成功只是科技發(fā)展的一方面。實(shí)際上中國(guó)在很多領(lǐng)域都取得了突破性進(jìn)展。中國(guó)又可以造福人類了?！?/p>

I never underestimate the abilities and capabilities of the Chinese people in all areas of science and technology based on what the Chinese had achieved in ancient time. China will eventually lead in many areas of innovations and sciences. This is just the beginning and the future hold bright promises for China. The recent success of lunar exploration is only one aspect of China's rise in science and technology areas. In fact much progress and breakthroughs have been made by China in fusion, nano, solar, nuclear, internet, genetic sciences and technologies etc. It is a welcome come-back by China to contribute to humanity.
