Pawpaw and tremella sweet soup with lotus seeds. This is a traditional soup in South China's Guangdong province. The soup is becoming more and more popular in other parts of China now, not only for its taste, but also because it is good for beating coughs and lung heat, which happens a lot on cold and dry winter days. It is especially popular among women as the pawpaw and tremella are both good for the skin.
