New collection from Uniqlo

Uniqlo has just released its sixth collection in collaboration with French style icon Ines de la Fressange. The collection continues the Parisian vibe, drawing inspiration from the classic style of the Left Bank of Paris and the rock 'n' roll scene of the 1970s. In the collection, different shades of gray are interspersed with blue, red and green. The collection, which has more than 70 pieces, will be out in stores and online from Sept 9.

China firm designs Japan kindergarten

Chinese architecture firm MAD Architects has completed its first project in Japan, the Clover House kindergarten. Located in a small town called Okazaki in the Aichi Prefecture, the kindergarten was converted from a two-story family house. For the project, the original wooden structure is wrapped up in a white, futuristic structure, creating a playful space that encourages imagination. Ma Yansong, the founder and principal partner of MAD, is one of the chief designers.
