Several Chinese designers will exhibit their creations in the Milan Design Week next month. Curated by Yang Dongjiang, deputy director of Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University, the exhibition will feature works from designers including Ruan Hao, Lin Xueming and Chen Yaoguang. The exhibition will be held at Milan University from April 13 to 26.
Yacht party
China Rendez-Vous, a major organizer of yacht and private-jet events, recently unveiled its program for the year. Six major events, including beach polo, sailing, vintage-car display and skiing are expected to be held from June to December. Established by French entrepreneur Delphine Lignieres, the Shanghai-based company has turned its annual yacht event in Sanya, Hainan province, to a coveted floating party for rich Chinese. This year, some 16,000 people and more than 100 luxury yachts are expected to gather for the four-day event beginning on Dec 10.
