0The final of the 20th New Silk Road Chinese Model Contest Tianjin Zone kicked off on Oct 28 in Dongjiang, Tianjin Binhai New Area. Three models were chosen from the group to compete in the national finals in Sanya, Hainan province, which was scheduled to wrap up at the end of November.
The New Silk Road Model Contest debuted in Guangzhou in 1989. The previous 19 pageants have successfully brought out numerous noted supermodels such as Ma Yanli, Xie Dongna, Du Juan, Qu Ying and Hu Bing.
