Chou expands from the stage to KTV

Jay Chou is cornering the karaoke market, according to the latest reports that say he is about to invest some of his millions in running a chain of KTVs, starting with a first outlet in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province.
A Southern Metropolis Daily report says the KTV is currently being renovated and will open within weeks. It will be called True Love Fantasy. It's a smart move by Chou, obviously, as he will be able to ensure people will be singing his name for the foreseeable future.
Occasionally, we are wrong and, as such, we have to admit it. Step up Andy Lau, who recently promoted his upcoming A Simple Life at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, along with fellow player Deanie Ip.
Uncharacteristically, the notoriously private actor was happy to talk about his baby news and admitted for the first time that wife Carol Chu is pregnant - after years of trying. However, Lau said that rumors Chu was three months pregnant were wrong: "She's actually four months pregnant."
So, we were a month out.
Lau added that he did not care if the babe was a boy or girl, and that he would finish off two films in the coming months and then spend time with his family in Hong Kong.
Another celebrity couple planning on a dragon baby (2012 is the Year of the Dragon) is actor Daniel Wu and model Lisa S.
After filming The Last Supper in November, Wu immediately retuned to Hong Kong to take care of his wife and said he plans to take off six months to supervise the pregnancy and delivery.
Still in Hong Kong, Aaron Kwok tumbled from a riser at his Hong Kong concert on Tuesday night as wires for the device snapped while he was on it.
He fell awkwardly on his back but sprang up and put on a great show - even turning somersaults on a spring bed.
At the after-party, he told reporters he was shocked but fine. His model-actress girlfriend Lynn Xiong attended the performance with her parents and brother but would no doubt have been disappointed to overhear Kwok tell reporters that there were no marriage plans in the making.
Beijing's Faye Wong will tell you parenting is not an easy task - although it does have its upside. Her daughter with ex-husband Dou Wei, Dou Jingtong, turned 15 on Tuesday. Wong celebrated by uploading a photo of her at the beach, accompanied by the caption: "Every willful and naive mother will have a gentle and understanding daughter."
Wong complemented her daughter on her long legs, and netizens queued up to add that she had a similar look to her mother. Apparently, she can sing, too. Like mother like daughter.
Finally, on a related note, Wong and Jolin Tsai reportedly clashed at Hunan Satellite TV's New Year's concert. A video clip has gone viral that shows Wong taking over a dressing room and an assistant closing the door on Tsai, who had just finished performing.
Tsai was forced to return to her car in a big coat. Fans of the two singers got into a bit of a bitter online battle about the whole situation, even though Hunan Satellite TV tried to pour oil on troubled waters by saying it was their fault, as an assistant had mistakenly led Tsai to the dressing room arranged for Wong.
