Jennifer Lopez "would love" to have more children.
The singer-and-actress - who has two-year-old twins Emme and Max with her husband Marc Anthony - is reportedly keen to extend her brood and have a new son or daughter.
Her close friend Leah Remini told People.com: "Jen would love to have more kids."
However, until the 41-year-old star has a new baby, she will be busy working on the new series of 'American Idol', which she adores.
Discussing her pal's new job, Leah added: "She loves it. This is one of her favorite jobs because Jennifer loves artists. Jennifer loves to find somebody. She's a fan of the show. Jennifer really wants to find 'it.' "
Jennifer has also been praised by show boss Nigel Lythgoe for her work on the series, where he has nicknamed her the programme's "alpha female".
He claims the new panel - also consisting of Steven Tyler and original judge Randy Jackson - work well together and are "kind" to contestants as well as tough.
He explained: "It's new and fresh, which is a big difference.
"It's just a lot of fun to work together.
"They're all kind, but they're tough. You've got to look at their backgrounds and what they've been through. So they're not going to be cruel. They're not going to be like, 'Pack your suitcase - you're going home.' The integrity is going to be there."
