Janet Jackson is set to secretly marry long-term boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. The 'Together Again' singer - who has been dating record producer Jermaine since 2002 - is reportedly planning an intimate wedding ceremony in France early next year.

A source said: "They want a very simple wedding in Paris with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop. The wedding won't be extravagant, but they do want their families and friends to be there. "Jermaine has told Janet he wants to make the big leap into marriage.

He hasn't given her an ultimatum, but has expressed his discontent with the way she refuses to talk about commitment. Janet has finally realised how important this is to him." Janet - who was previously married to Rene Elizondo and James DeBarge - has promised to focus on wedding plans once her run of shows finishes later this year.

The source added to the National Enquirer magazine: "Janet is preparing for a short tour this fall, but when that is over, she and Jermaine are going to put the final touches on their wedding plans and seal the deal."
