Chassis that carried 23 floats from China's National Day parade in October were sold at a charity auction in Beijing Tuesday, Xinhua reported. Proceeds of RMB3.5m will go to the China Health and Medical Development Foundation and other Chinese charity organizations, said a spokesman for Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd, manufacturer of the floats and host of the auction.
