If the British wanted HK and shanghai for its natural resources then HK and shanghai will just be like any other former colony of the west in Africa. If I am correct that they wanted for HK is to make it a trading port.
Don't even compare the crimes the British have done to the world to china. I don't think China even look down at a white man because he is white and because they are different from us, and we even welcomed Marco polo. I don't think China went and pick a certain color of people and sold them as slaves. I don't think the Chinese have ever forced the west to buy drugs even when many of their people are against the drugs sold to them. I don't think china actually used religion as an excuse to mind control a bunch of losers to start a war for them. For many centuries china have been offering tribute to it neighbors so we can avoid war, and the west? The Chinese rather killed their own men to build a great wall to defend themselves instead of training those thousands of men to soldiers and attack its weaker neighbors. The Chinese had contact with the west and they were a lot more powerful at that time, and we didn't sent an army to crush the weaker western nation or Arab nations, and what happened when the west became the superpowers of the world? They went around the world bullying the weak. GIVE ME A BREAK, china has done crimes, but when compared to the west or just England, it doesn't even make up a fraction of what they have done.
Two dots wow, I think the Chinese invention gun powder has once made British territory covering a quater of the world, a quater of the world to two dots, you still own us a lot you know. Don't even tell me is the past, since you have been robbing and exploiting from those colonies, billions of dollars ad natural resources went to British pockets I doubt that the west would even be half as rich without robbing their colonies blind for so many centuries.
I did stayed in England for 2 weeks, although our trip was supposed to be a month. Eventually we had to leave because three of my classmates were beaten up by a few white man and they were caught and they said they beat them because we were Asians, and not white, and that's our &^)&&*( crime. That 8 white bastard only got 3-6 months of jailed while hospitalizing 2 of them. Also I do have a hard time to deal with people who laugh at you because your cant pronounce English correct. I didn't laugh at the French who went up to me and ask for direction while he is speaking mandarin to me, and instead I admire him for trying. All I got in England was being laughed at, and its not one time, its daily. I pretty much had the worst two weeks of my life in England 4 years ago, humiliated and threatened.
