據(jù)悉，以色列老資格政治家、原工黨主席佩雷斯30日在記者會上宣布，他已經結束了在工黨內的政治活動，并決定加入沙龍下屆政府，而且將在明年提前舉行的大選中支持以沙龍總理為首的前進黨。
外電報道如下：Under a reported deal worked out with the prime minister, Peres will support Kadima, the centrist party Sharon formed last week after leaving thehard-lineLikud, but he will not officially join the party and he will not run for a seat in parliament, where he has served since 1959.
Hard-line指的是“強硬路線的”，也就是政策、路線或立場堅定的，沒有商量余地。如：hard-line Islamist（強硬派伊斯蘭教徒）。Hard line 則表示“強硬路線”，和tough line同義。如：Japan has taken a hard line on China.（日本對華采取強硬路線。）
Hard line 的反義詞是soft line，意為“溫和路線”。
