Attacked zoo monkey is hermaphrodite
A monkey at a zoo in Yichang of Hubei Province is a hermaphrodite, which is rarely seen in the country, Chutian Metropolis News reports. Soon after it was born in April 1999, the monkey was deserted by its mother and used to be constantly molested by other monkeys. The monkey suffered cerebral concussion when it was attacked several days ago; and when a vet in the zoo treated it, he was surprised to find that the monkey was bisexual. |
