Customer fined for leftover food

The Guangzhou Consumers' Council on Thursday sided with a local restaurant
which fined a man 20 yuan (US$2.41) for wasting food, reports Guangzhou Daily.
Guan was asked to pay the fine by the restaurant in Haizhu District because
he had a lot of food left on his table when he finished the buffet dinner.
The restaurant had said patrons would be fined if they left more than 100
grams of food but Guan refused to pay and called local consumers' council for
help. The council said Guan should pay the fine.
