2.2b yuan spent in 'Golden Week'

Guangzhou's tourism industry earned 2.2 billion yuan (US$265 million) during
the "Golden Week" National Day holiday, reports New Express News.
Parks and tourist resorts received 3.48 million visitors, 47.8 per cent
higher than the holiday week last year.
Baiyun Mountain Park, Tianhe Park, Guangzhou Zoo, Yuexiu Park and Guangzhou
Flower Exhibition Park attracted the highest number of the visitors. Xiangjiang
Safari Park, Furong Holiday Resort, Baiyun Mountain Park, Guangzhou Chime-long
Night Zoo and Guangzhou Flower Exhibition Park were the top five in terms of
ticket revenue.
