As the latest achievement of
the military theory of Marxism, Jiang Zeming's thinking on national defense and
army building is a scientific military system came down in one continuous line
with the military thought of Mao Zedong and army building thinking in new era of
Deng Xiaoping and keeps paces with the times. In order to earnestly study and
carry through the thinking on national defense and army building of Jiang Zemin
and strive for promoting the building and reform of the army, we should carry
forward the spirit of keeping paces with the times to enable the theory and
practice of the army to embody the times, master the law and be enriched with
creativity.
Scientific theory is the product of the times. In today's world, the

and economic globalization are developing amid twists and turns, peace and
development remain the themes of the present era. The global new military
changes are springing up and overtaking the technology and quality superiority

To embody the times, one should earnestly study and carry through the thinking
