The 16th Beijing International Film Festival will be held from April 16 to 25 in Beijing, China.
French actress and director Juliette Binoche will serve as the jury president of the Tiantan Award, the event's top honor.

A report on the investment and financing of China's film industry was released on Wednesday at Shouchuang Langyuan Station, as part of the ongoing 16th Beijing International Film Festival.
"I think (more informative short videos) are the future. I am using this momentum," says foreign influencer Yegor during an interview with Unboxing China. With the BJIFF Short Video Section opening in Jiyuan on April 23, an Unboxing China video featuring Yegor was shortlisted.
