The towering 10-storey building in Kaunas, Lithuania was designed to resemble a fluttering banknote. Architect Rimas Adomaitis used 4,500 pieces of glass embossed with special enamel patterns to create the spectacular sight. The block has been dubbed “Office Center 1000” in honor of the 1,000 Litas note the design was based on.[Photo/IC] |
