The Year of China in South Africa: Creative Industries between South Africa and China Forum
held its opening on Nov 11th in Pretoria, South Africa. Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of China, the Department of Arts and Culture of South Africa, the Chinese Embassy in South Africa, China Cultural Media Group Ltd., and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) of South Africa, the forum is a significant part of the Year of China in South Africa.The forum's theme was centered on "innovation and creativity help to promote the China-South Africa partnership". This is the first time for two countries to have communication and discussion on cultural industries.
