Longsheng autonomous county in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, which borders Hunan province, is accessible by high-speed railway and expressways and attracts visitors with its unique charms.

The county is known for its well-preserved environment and unique ethnic culture as it is home to Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han ethnic groups and covers 2,538 square kilometers, 87.2 percent of which is mountainous.
