Linde, the world's leading gases and engineering company, vowed to continuous growth in China despite the country's slowing economy.

"Industrial gases are used in almost every industry, while not all of them are vulnerable to economic slowdown," said Steven Fang, Regional Business Unit Head of Greater China of the Linde Group. "The industrial gases business is not that sensitive to economic slowdown which might even create opportunities for Linde."

Statistics showed the average annual growth rate of the industrial gases business in China was about 1.5 times to 2 times that of national GDP growth. Fang said Linde's growth rate was much higher.
