Leaders launch mass line campaign

The top leadership of the Communist Party of China decided on Friday to start a year-long campaign in the second half of this year to ask all Party members to better understand and strictly follow the Party's mass line policy. The policy refers to a fundamental leadership method that the CPC has adopted since the Chinese revolution before 1949, when Party members were encouraged to strengthen their ties with the public to rectify erroneous behavior by learning from the experiences that the masses gain in everyday life.
